Ketari is tall, taller than Eber but he never seems to notice. When they are hugging, he snuggles in and she squeezes tight. He’s strong enough to pick her up, but it’s undignified and she will not allow it, even in play. She was in training to be a guild messenger, but Mari convinces her and Eber to go south with Lyra. 

This short story is about Ru-Lee. 

She is stubborn, smart and a survivor. 

When Lyra  spots her stumbling across the salt flat, she could clearly see through her mono glass, even from that great distance, that the little figure emerging from the wall of red grass was in big trouble. 

Unlike most their former classmates, Lyra and Hanzen spent their formative years outside, hunting, scouting and living off the land.  They grew up together and have been best friends since childhood.
